My favorit place in Melbourne

[REPORT]

This report describes the difference in lunch between Japan and Australia. A typical lunch at an Australian school is “Sandwiches” and some fruit. Some students bring leftover food from the previous day in a container. In Japan, it is common to make lunch in the morning and bring it.

Even though, I have never met people who make an Obento in Australia. Australian lunch is lighter than Japan, also they do not care about food presentation. This is because Japanese Bento is unique and special culture. In summary, lunch in Australia is light and different from Japan.

[JOURNAL]

G’day, how have you been? This time, I would like to share my favorite place in Melbourne. It is a place called Point Ormond with a beach and a little hill. I have been there twice with my friend to see the sunset.

The reason why I love this place is that the scenery is super beautiful, and we can see the city from the hill as well. If you go there and eat gelato, the day will be perfect. I would like to go on a picnic there someday.

Melbourne Loyal Show

[REPORT]
I’ve been studying abroad in Australia. My research topic is “Food Culture in Australia”. I would like to find out what people who live in Australia usually eat. This time, I will report on typical Australian breakfasts. Cereals, oats, and bread are the most popular in Australia. There are several types of them at grocery stores. I surprised with cereal bars because I have never seen it in Japan. Unexpectedly, most of cereals are no sweeter than the Japanese one. Furthermore, there are many kinds of a loaf of bread in grocery stores. Also, they are very thin because people often use them to make sandwiches for lunch. Thus, I discovered many differences regarding breakfast. I thought it is good to live here for people who are health conscious. This is because, there are easy access to healthy food such as mixed grain bread and low carb bread and so on. Even breakfast was totally different and interesting that difference between Australia and Japan.

[JOURNAL]

Hi, how’s gong? It's been over two months since I came to Australia. I’m enjoying my life in Melbourne. I would like to share my experience of Melbourne Loyal Show with you. It is like a festival held every August. There were bunch of way to enjoy the festival. For example, many kinds of rides, food, shops, and animals. There were dogs and houses contests, also extreme bike performance. It was so cool.

Buy the way, the most iconic was “Show Bags”. There were various kinds of bags with lots of stuff in them. I bought an OREO one and a Tim Tam one. The design of bags was so cute. There were not only bags of snacks, but also clothes and toys. It was so much fun, and wonderful memory.
